The wonderfully atmospheric bar Ca La Seu in Sa Gerreria is undoubtedly Palma's newest most historic bar. This seeming contradiction in terms is possible because at 503 years old, the bar spent the first 500 years of its existence as a basket shop, which was said to be the oldest shop in Europe.

The actual owners have preserved its soul and much of the decor and furnishings whilst converting it to an excellent Cafe, where you can also enjoy a selection of sandwiches, salads, cheeses and sausages, pa amb olis, homemade cakes and an extensive selection of wines.
